James Chesnut is Senior Vice President of Nuclear Operations at Day & Zimmermann, where he oversees open-shop nuclear maintenance, radiological services and valve services. James got his start in skilled craft as a journeyman painter and followed his father into the nuclear industry, building more than 35 years of experience across PWR nuclear and fossil generating stations. A passionate champion of workforce development, he serves on the board of the Center for Energy Workforce Development (CEWD) and has testified in support of nuclear workforce initiatives. James brings a craft-rooted executive perspective on mobilizing the skilled people and quality systems needed to build and maintain the next fleet.
